Isaiah 26:6-8

⁶ Feet trample^(A) it down—
    the feet of the oppressed,^(B)
    the footsteps of the poor.^(C)

⁷ The path of the righteous is level;^(D)
    you, the Upright One,^(E) make the way of the righteous smooth.^(F)
8 Yes, Lord, walking in the way of your laws,^[a](G)
    we wait^(H) for you;
your name^(I) and renown
    are the desire of our hearts.
